Two Pilots Walk Up To a Spec and Say, "Can You Fly, Spec?"
This is the madness that happens when you want to post two pilots and one spec script on your TV page. You try to come up with a catchy title, and you feel so dirty.

The Seinfeld Spec
Back in the day when writing for sitcoms was the thing to shoot for, this speculative writing sample — The Spec Script — got me meetings. I'm kinda fond of it.

The Slightly British Pilot
My old chum Roger Rees and I collaborated on this pilot for a sitcom about a guy and his ex-wife who have competing beachfront businesses. We set it in Venice, California. Roger used to do a lot of Shakespeare. We called it The Merchants of Venice. Get it?

The Latino Pilot
There haven't been a lot of Latino ensemble sitcoms on the air. This fish-out-of-water story about Hispanics shooting a soap opera in Oklahoma was, maybe, ahead of its time. Or from another universe. You decide.
